A fully furnished, mostly Maxis, labor of love.
I began this house as part of a Sims2Community building contest sponsored by Ciane back in the Spring of 2005. I've always wanted to put it up for download, but it had so much custom content that it really needed completely redone.
Expansions required: all - Uni, NL, OFB, Pets, Seasons, BV
Other amenities: basement, driveway, swimming pool, hot tub, hot springs, fishable pond, music room, ground floor nursery/bedroom, fireplace, ready for pets. More pics below.
This house has been playtested throughout the last 18 months, and the current configuration has been played through a week a few times. All landscaping is gardenable and is minimal. Your sim or the gardener can easily keep up with the bush trimming. I've tried to place end or coffee tables where it would make sense to keep a Thinking Cap for skilling. I intentionally left some blank wall space so your sim (and my sim!) can hang custom paintings. The music room has one of the new Bon Voyage shelfs for knick-knacks. My goal, as with all my houses, is that it's playable and good looking.
I call it a Labor of Love because my favorite sim, Kyle, was displaced and has been waiting to move back in to his newly furnished home, birthplace of himself and his mother.

Numenor's policy as listed on MTS2 does not allow redistribution of his meshes, so you will need to go and download Maxis "Lost & Found" #26: Floral Centerpiece if you want the bouquet in the master bedroom to show up correctly. I considered replacing it, but I really like the look of this object in that room.
